Jacqueline graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with certification in Pre-Health Technologies. During her time at the University of Texas she interned with a local company in developing rapid molecular diagnostics for companion animal diseases.
After graduation, Jacqueline worked in several industries including clinical microbiology, biochemistry, immunology, and molecular biology.
Despite working in several industries, Jacqueline was disappointed in lack of innovation and integrity of scientific data output and is working on educating and sharing her passion for good science.
Jacqueline is currently pursuing her certification in clinical laboratory science. Afterwards, her plans are to pursue a Masters in Microbiology and then focus on getting into a PhD program focusing on synthetic biology / genetic engineering.
